Educational institutions (schools, universities) worldwide prepare their students for the world of work. However, they sometimes have difficulties in placing their graduates in well-paid jobs, since local demand is not high enough even for qualified workers.
As a preparation to our workshop "IMPLEMENTATION OF LABOR DEMAND MANAGEMENT" on March 29, 2022, Chinese vocational school and university representatives from various provinces asked companies in their region the following question:
What are the challenges that currently impede you from increasing your staff by 10%?
A total of five challenges were identified. Possible practical solutions that the Chinese education sector can offer for these challenges, were jointly developed.
