Die ruandische Berufsbildung hat in den letzten Jahren einige Reformen erlebt. Seit einigen Jahren versucht die Regierung auch verstärkt die duale Ausbildung in den Fokus zu setzen und das bisher schwache praxisorientierte Training auszubauen.
Ausbilder stellen hierbei die Schnittstelle zwischen Auszubildenden, Unternehmen und auch den Schulträgern. Um dieser Verantwortung gerecht zu werden sind nicht nur berufliches Fachwissen von Nöten, sondern auch die geeignete Vermittlung des Unterrichtsinhalts sowie die Unterstützung der Auszubildenden in diversen Fragen.
Im Rahmen des PartnerRwanda-Projekts unterstützt BIWE bei der Ausbildung der Ausbilder in Ruanda. In Kooperation mit der Privat Sector Federation (PSF) und dem Imanzi Business Institute (IBI) ein pädagogischer und didaktischer Kurs für Ausbilder angeboten. Durch Ausbildung von insgesamt 48 Ausbildern soll die Qualität der Berufsausbildung in einzelnen Gewerken erhöht werden. Ebenso sollen die Ausbilder als Multiplikatoren auftreten, um dann eine systematische Qualitätssteigerung auf die gesamte Berufsausbildung zu erhalten.
Das Projekt "PartnerRwanda" wird vom Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ) über die sequa gGmbH finanziert und ist Teil der Sonderinitiative "Ausbildung und Beschäftigung".
Training of in-company trainers
Rwandan vocational education and training has undergone several reforms in recent years. For some years now, the government has also been trying to focus more on dual training and to expand the previously weak practice-oriented training.
Trainers are the interface between trainees, companies and also the school authorities. In order to do justice to this responsibility, not only professional expertise is needed, but also the appropriate teaching of the content of the lessons as well as the support of the trainees in various questions.
Within the framework of the PartnerRwanda project, BIWE supports the training of trainers in Rwanda. In cooperation with the Private Sector Federation (PSF) and the Imanzi Business Institute (IBI), a pedagogical and didactical course for trainers is offered. By training a total of 48 trainers, the quality of vocational training in individual trades is to be improved. Likewise, the trainers are to act as multipliers in order to then obtain a systematic increase in quality for the entire vocational training.
The "PartnerRwanda" project is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) through sequa gGmbH and is part of the special initiative "Training and Employment".
